Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information the platform holds, why, and the controls you have over it. It is a working draft prepared for legal review before launch.

What we collect

Account details, the equipment records you create, repair requests and their attachments, provider verification evidence, messages sent through the platform, support tickets, and technical search queries used to improve the knowledge base.

Why we collect it

To provide the service you asked for: matching your request to suitable providers, recording service history, sending the notifications you enabled, running verification, handling disputes and improving coverage in your market.

What we never do

We do not sell identifiable repair enquiries or customer records. We do not publish serial numbers or equipment photos. We do not send marketing without consent.

Legal bases and consent

Where consent is the basis (marketing, non-essential cookies), it is recorded and can be withdrawn. Transactional messages about a request you made are sent as part of the service.

Retention

Records are kept while your account is active and for the period required for financial, tax, dispute and safety records afterwards. You can delete equipment records and close your account at any time.

Your controls

Access, correction, export and deletion requests are handled through the help centre. Where a dispute is open, the related records are retained until it is resolved.

International transfers

The platform operates globally. Where personal data is transferred across borders, the applicable safeguards for the relevant framework are applied, and this policy is updated as those frameworks change.
