MachineDown aims to meet WCAG 2.2 AA where practical, and to be usable one-handed on a phone in a busy kitchen.
What is implemented
Semantic landmarks and headings, keyboard focus indicators on every interactive control, readable body text at 16px and above, reduced-motion support, and language direction handling for right-to-left languages.
Colour and contrast
Status colours are paired with text labels, so meaning never depends on colour alone. Contrast targets follow the AA thresholds for text and interactive elements.
Forms and errors
Every field has a visible label, errors are shown next to the field and described in text, and required fields are marked before submission rather than after.
Known gaps
Dynamic technical tables can require horizontal scrolling on small screens, and translated technical content is limited to the languages in which it has been reviewed. We list the supported languages on each technical page.
